Buy: Breece Hall

jets It’s easy to say, “oh, Smitty, no one will trade Breece Hall on the low!” But, the truth is, everything depends on if the owner in question (the owner with Hall) has to make a trade and turn one player into two players. A Hall manager that has 5 wins (or more) probably won’t be panicked on Hall all that much, whereas an owner with 3 wins (or less) might be panicked a bit. Hall had a very mediocre Week 8, and the Jets aren’t winning… this might have the current Hall owner in your league worried about not only the now but the future weeks. And, while concern does exist for the struggling Jets and the fantasy outputs of all the studs on roster, the risks are baked-in rather well. If you want to take a stab at trading for Breece on the low, try sending combos of players like: D’Andre Swift and a George Pickens… that kind of duo could land Hall more frequently than you’d think, and that kind of duo might land you a second player in return (making it a nice 2-for-2). Another example for buying Hall low would be: a well-playing Najee Harris with a WR like Davante Adams.

Like with Jahmyr Gibbs and Ceedee Lamb last week, once Hall has that bounce-back in Week 9, the “buy” window will be cemented closed for the remainder of 2024.
