Read MoreBold Prediction: Ashton Jeanty
Ashton Jeanty is a MONSTER. I get that people are mad about last year’s collapse in Las Vegas, but don’t let last year poison the upside that is clearly now present in this environment heading into 2026. Pete Carroll was the worst. The offensive line was the most pathetic unit we have seen anywhere in over a decade, and it failing was about 50% coaching and 50% talent. People that think Las Vegas is far off from stellar play are living in the past, as they brought in Super Bowl winning head coach Klint Kubiak and just drafted a true winner at QB in Fernando Mendoza. Tom Brady had very little say in last year’s decisions, but I honestly believe that was by design to some degree. Brady is that smart, he wasn’t asked to help much last year and he certainly didn’t want to try and save something that wasn’t worth saving. The team stripped the team down to the ground and rebuilt the team from the foundation up. Tom Brady has had a big hand in everything this off-season, and Jeanty now has a much improved (and healthy) offensive line, with the best center in the entire NFL. Kirk Cousins or Mendoza, the ball will move down the field efficiently through the air, and Brock Bowers being healthy is huge. Jeanty will help setup the run, the pass will help setup Jeanty, and the defense could be top 10 in the NFL out of the gate (which also feeds into the offense and so on).
Jeanty is a top 1-5RB in the talent department, and he was hit behind the line of scrimmage so much last year, judging anything on paper is a total miss. He passed the eye test and he was ultra-efficient in so many statistical categories last year despite the impossibly-bad situation he was handed…
He was 3rd in broken tackles, 3rd in receiving TDs, 4th in yard-after-contact per reception, 5th in 50+ yard runs, 6th in target share, 6th in yards-after-catch, 7th in rushing attempts, 7th in yards-after-contact per rush.. the list goes on and on. He was top 10 in well over 15 stats like that, all while being handed the worst offensive line, the worst QB play and the worst field position known to man. All that and he still totaled 1300+ total yards, pulled in 55 receptions (7th in the lg) and scored 10 total touchdowns. That’s unreal when you think about it. To play like that in that specific situation, I think it screams top 1-4RB in 2026.
Conclusion
Doubt Jeanty all you want due to things out of his control (things that did not break him or injure him).. Jeanty could truly be a top 3-5RB in both total touchdowns and rushing yards. I think he rushes for 1,300+ yards, pulls in 65+ passes for 350-400 more yards, and I think he scores 13-15TDs. In hindsight, he will have been worth a top 5 overall pick, yet his ADP lives in the 12-15 range. STEAL!

Read MoreBold Prediction: Jordyn Tyson
Jordyn Tyson has Ceedee Lamb potential. I truly believe that Tyson can reach that type of ceiling value, but of course most have injury concerns. Let me address those.
Tyson has been banged up over the years, but none of the injuries were related. He had a major left knee injury (ACL, MCL, and PCL) 2022, but he’s thrived since and his knee has zero issues… in fact, the year after his injury he posted his best season (75 receptions for 1,105 and 10TDs). He suffered a broken collarbone after that, which is a non-issue once healed (collarbones most times heal stronger).. In 2025, Tyson missed the final three games of the season due to a hamstring strain and then he tried to rush back for the combine and needed more time (causing panic). He held a private workout just prior to the NFL Draft, which was a smashing success, so no one should be holding any of these injuries agaisnt him. They are not linked. And, none are lingering at all.
From a skill-set perspective, he moves like Ceedee Lamb, he has better ball tracking skills than any wide receiver prospect that I have ever seen, and he is one of one in terms of creating space off the line of scrimmage. He’s a unicorn.
I truly see him as a top 5-10 fantasy football wide receiver of the future, and I think that he could produce top 10-15WR numbers even as a rookie. I love the Saints offense, I love Tyler Shough (I once did not) and I’m not even worried about Chris Olave (who could get an extension, or he could get concussed again and then Tyson is the clear-cut WR1 from that second on).
Conclusion
At the end of the day, much of predicting risers that have yet to play an NFL snap comes down to eye test. Tyson passes the eye test. For me, he screams ‘elite’ and I’m going to bet on my gut instinct on the kid. Let’s end this on some predictions/projections:
Predictions
2026: Tyson, Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price all battle it out for rookie of the year, where Tyson drops 70+ receptions for 1,000 yards and 6-8TDs.
2027: Tyson reaches top 5-10WR dynasty value.
