Week 4 Waiver Wire Rankings
Below are my Week 4 Waiver Wire Rankings summary, followed by the entire field of potential Week 4 adds.
In a nutshell, if you need a RB, you have several options... some options will serve different purposes (short-term, long-term stash.. a mix of both).
Running Backs
Braelon Allen: Who is the best 'win-a-league' runner on waivers? Braelon Allen. If Breece Hall goes down, Allen becomes an absolute top 10RB monster. Maybe 6-10RB. He also serves as a fantastic flex or RB3 play even with Hall healthy and thriving. He could punch in 10TDs this year with Hall playing well for 17-straight games. He is the perfect mix of 'now' and 'stash' for RBs. He is great now (as a back-up that gets good usage) and would be amazing if starting. As I said, he serves two purposes.
Bucky Irving: The guy is just explosive. He is easily taking the job away from Rachaad White, at least between the tackles. White has been awful since last year between the tackles. So much so, the Bucs made it known they wanted to explore a different between the tackles option heading into the 2024 NFL Draft. I mean, they literally made it known. Then, they took a rookie RB. Irving was that back. Irving had 70 yards on under 10 rushes in Week 3... this upcoming contest could be his breakout game with 12-15 rushes. And, just because White has been great catching the ball, don't be shocked if Irving looks as good catching and they just use Irving 70% of all touches.
Carson Steele: The guy was fed a big workload in Week 3. Might Kareem Hunt get activated and cloudy up this situation? Yes. It's possible, however, it's not a certainty... we cannot assume he will or won't become a problem for Steele... he has been out of football for a while now (Hunt)... keep in mind, though, that the Chiefs have had Steele rostered this entire time, not Hunt... that means something, especially when Steele stepped up and rushed for 70 yards in Week 3.
Jalen Wright: Until Mostert is back, which may or may not be this week (grab Mostert if he returns, though), Wright is the backup to De'Von Achane now, which is a role that gets usage. Wright may not get tons of work now, but at some point I do think he starts in that secondary role, a role which Mostert thrived in last season.
Ray Davis: James Cook is a monster and the BUF offense is awesome... if Cook gets hurt, Davis will thrive. Davis got some garbage time in Week 3, but scored and looked great.
Isaac Guerendo: Mason owners have to have him. Have to! He is a great grab for anyone, as he just became the new Jordan Mason (as Mason became the CMC). Mason hasn't had this kind of workload since High School, though, so injury isn't out of the question for Mason. I hope he doesn't get hurt, we love him.. Mason was a huge call on my YouTube Channel.. big win for our community. But, we have to plan accordingly and plan ahead.
Trey Benson: If something happens to James Conner, who looked mediocre in Week 3, Benson will eventually rise.

Wide Receivers
Jauan Jennings: He was amazing in Week 3, scoring 3TDs and 170+ yards. That said, he won't do that ever again. He won't likely do anything close to that ever again, as the 49ers have too many weapons when healthy. And, once Deebo comes back in the next week or so, which is the expectation, Jennings will fade a little into the background WR3 role. He can still be flex productive there, though. But, I am seeing crazy questions like "should I trade Tyreek Hill for Jennings" and those questions are driving me insane. He is a great add, and he could hold nice WR2 value for the weeks Deebo remains out. No doubt. Sell high, don't buy high.
The rest of the WRs are very close, as Nailor keeps scoring, Lazard as well... Ok, Iosivas as well.

Quarterbacks
Sam Darnold is balling. Will it continue? Maybe. I don't think to the extent he is currently playing, but QB8-12? Sure. All I care about is that Darnold is great for Justin Jefferson, something I was wrong about from the jump of the off-season. I admit I was wrong. It works. I'm happy to admit that I was wrong.

Tight Ends
Hunter Henry is still the best pick-up right now at the very thin position of TE. He is still available in lots of leagues. The rest of the free agent TE pool is kind of dry. For now. But, more are listed below.
